National Allotment Week
« on: August 13, 2018, 13:56:46 »
National Allotment Week takes place from 13th - 19th August and will be highlighting the many benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables. We know many of you have already discovered these benefits so we’re asking for photos of your treasured plot, or prize fruit and veg crop from this year.

The winning allotment holder will receive a bulk bag (750L - 1000L) of a product of their choosing from the Earth Cycle range including Topsoil, Soil Conditioner, Mushroom Compost, Mulch and Bark. We’re hoping that the competition will encourage others to get green-fingered and embrace the life of an allotment holder.

The aim of the competition is to raise awareness of the many benefits of growing your own fruit and vegetables. It’s not just the health benefits of eating more fruit and veg, or even the reduction to your carbon footprint in growing your own that matter. Studies show that there are many physical and mental health benefits of gardening – and this means allotments are very special places indeed.

If you’re interested in getting involved with our competition, simply send us a photo via info@earthcycle.co.uk or share on social media using the hashtag #ECAllotmentWeek @EarthCycleUK by 19th August.

We can’t wait to see the photos and we’ll share all the best snaps so that we can continue inspiring each other. For more information visit www.earthcycle.co.uk
