Hi Ya, Your pleased and I can understand why. I have been picking and am chuffed as well with what I have grown considering The lack of time this year and the hot weather. I can't see a picture though so wondered if you have posted one.

Are those sweet potatoes top right?  Wow!  Yes as Lezelle said, you can be very proud of this especially as it wasn't an easy year.  Thank you for showing us.

Yep - sweet potatoes have done well.  I  put in 12 plants from Suttons and so far I have dug up one.  There is about three or four meals from that so I hope the rest are as good.  My 85 year old Jamaican plot neighbour was in bits about them so we gave him some to eat - he said he tried for years but never got anything.  I guess it was more down to the heat than anything I did so I will enjoy them but I am not sure I can repeat the success.

Thanks

They are banana squash.  First time growing them but they seem to do well and they are tasty.  Hidden in the pic under some other stuff is an enormous one - generally I don't go for really big squash as there are only two of us and they will dry up or go off before we get to finish them..
