Rockery plant identification
« on: May 29, 2018, 19:49:24 »
I bought this rockery plant many years ago and one of my neighbours has asked me what it is.   I have looked all through the plant (and it has spread a long way!!) but cannot find the label.   The flowers are now "going over" but I would be grateful if someone could tell me what it is.

five petals suggests carnation family.  Which includes diathus, campions and catchflies.

I suggest:creeping Phlox subulata 'candy stripe' or maybe 'kimono'?

Looking at the leaves as well as the flowers and comparing them with your pic. :happy7:
