supermarket spuds
« on: March 23, 2018, 10:22:56 »
It has come to that time of year when we have had to buy some. Asda spuds are shite, black inside, I've put better on the compost heap and no taste, can't be arsed to take them back. You get what you pay for, greengrocers for my next lot I think.

Do take them back!  Otherwise the shop won't know that they are black on the inside.  I have always found that ASDA is very good about refunds.  But if you didn't see that the spuds had a problem then they probably didn't either.   :BangHead:

As to supermarket potatoes having little flavour, that's nothing new.  A sack of Desiree from the greengrocer might well be a safer bet.  Good luck

We got some off the market. They are surprisingly nice.
