« on: December 12, 2017, 17:36:00 »
good afternoon all. i have just spent the afternoon grating 20lbs of surplus marrow and i have conflicting recipes for different amounts of sugar to add. 4 gallons of water i imagine should be added but just wondered about the sugar,i thought maybe 6 lbs?

Best advice is to put the lot in the compost!  Marrow wine can be thin tasting,  weak and if unlucky really odd tasting!   Having made many different  of wines from stuff at the plot I  would not bother with this one without some addition ingredients to add some taste.

If you do decide to proceed add loads of wine juice concentrate/raisins then add  sugar syrup gradually till it gets to the desired hg reading.
