Winter colour
« on: August 23, 2017, 17:30:16 »
We are about to put our house up for sale. The garden is looking lovely at the moment and should do for the next couple of months, but i'd like ideas for some colour over the winter months that wouldn't cost too much. the front is roughly east facing and the back west facing and the soil is alkaline (Built on Tadcaster limestone).

How about  tubs of flowering bulbs  wallflowers etc dotted about in your borders and then you could always take them with you or give to your family and  friends as going away presents
