Lovely garden visit

We spent the weekend at Warwick Folk Festival and in a break from the music visited Hill Close Gardens, restored Victorian Pleasure gardens. If you are ever near Warwick, do go:

When we stayed on the racecourse I was going to have a look around, somehow it did not happen, next time perhaps, do they have peacocks because I used to hear some calling from that area.

Not as far as I could see- no livestock at all though some of the old pig sties and chicken pens are still there.

These are in the castle grounds or at least they were the last time I visited Warwick

The sound certainly carries well, the castle is quite away off from the camp site and loads of houses in between.

No, doing Wickham this weekend and Vdub the weekend after, not looking forward Wickham it as they are having trouble with muddy ground and people are getting towed in. I will inquire about Warwick next year at least it is in town and not a muddy field. How was the festival?

It's the second year we've been and enjoyed both, though there were more well known bands and the weather was better last year ,though as most of the music is inside that's not too much of a problem. It's very civilised as it's in the school with use of showers etc. Ceilidh every night, lots of Morris dancing and mummers etc and Fringe events in town.
