Digging a pond possible?
« on: July 20, 2017, 16:22:56 »
Whilst my wife and son are away and I have more time*.  I want to dig a pond and move the old pond there.  It is about 1.5m long , 0.75 m wide and 1m deep (might make the new one deeper any thoughts).
I want to do this because it is in such deep shade it is dead (I think I will check).
Anyway can I do this in 2 weekends and 5  1 hour sessions in the evenings?  Or is it too difficult? I am not very fit.

*he is 9 and takes up a lot of time but is wonderful

I am going to put the spoil in a wheelbarrow, make the pond, move the water from the dead pond and use the spoil to fill the hole left from the old pond
