Allotments news
« on: July 14, 2017, 19:57:53 »
Paid for the allotment for another year, but have not given it much time this year.  The rain the other day was great, and the blackberries, raspberries are looking good.  Also loads of oregano, and other wild flowers for the bees, butterflies.  My Bramley apple tree is loaded, and even got some late yellow courgettes growing. Runner beans OK with all the rain, and may get some beetroot, spinach and toms. Council delivered some compost so got some of that, and some wood chip so all in all a happy bunny.  Also had some good chats with all the lovely people on the allotment. Dug up most of my strawberry plants as they were not too good this year.  Free weekend so hopefully can spend some time up there.  :sunny: :sunny:

Maybe we should move to Clacton, or somewhere by the sea. Still looking.
