testing
« on: July 02, 2017, 12:32:28 »
As you know I have lost my 'photobucket' account so I have been looking around for a new host.

Would you believe it I got some free web space when I purchased my camera and I completely forgot about it till I was looking around in my PC and I found it, so I thought I would test it out.

Like most software when you begin to use it, it looks very complicated  but in time you usually get the hang of it.

So here is my first attempt, sorry for making you guys my guinea pigs but I have to try it out somewhere. :angel11:

So what do think to this?

I have only put one picture in for now then I hope to open it in A4A and see what I come up with.

Feel free to do the same and let me know what you think, the more feedback I get the better it will be for us all. ...Tg

And now you may have the fun of transferring all your pictures to a new site!

Unlikely as I only get 20GB of free storage with Nikon which subject to the size of my pics I will only be able to store around 200 pics, which is not much when you consider I have 4300 in Photobucket.

Incidentally I can still  store for free in Photobucket but I can't place them on sites like A4A that's the annoying bit!

I have been having a look around Nikon and it would seem they are not into additional storage, this storage is just a bonus for buying a camera it would seem.

No matter I still have Flickr so I will look into that.

As they say: If there is a will there is a way!

So my searching starts now! :dontknow: :walk:

The Nikon image is very sharp.  And they have attached their name to is, so they get free advertising.

The links to your slide shows on PB are still working.

Could you use the attachment system to attach photos direct from your pc/laptop?

imgur.com

Largest image host on the internet and free.   Virtually unlimited space..
Gives you the codes to embed images on forums as well...

Flickr gives you a terabyte of space which is huge and provides nice embed codes.
