Anyone found a good method of cleaning sponge filters, coarse/medium/fine 24" diameter.

I blast mine with the jet junction on my hose attachment, and rinse in a bucket of clean water, i continue this until the water in the bucket is mostly clean.   Although it is never completely clear.

I also replace my filters about once a year as they do eventually break down.

This is a job i'm doing today in fact.

Yep as seacarrot has said is a good way , but  instead of using a bucket i wash the through in my water butts as it makes a very good plant feed then i blast them through with a hose.
you may be a king or a little street sweeper but sooner or later you dance with de reaper.
