Echium Pininana
« on: June 06, 2017, 22:16:01 »
First time ever I managed to overwinter one outside... I also had some in tubs in the greenhouse that I bury in Spring. The overwinter one has just died... the strong winds have rocked it so much that it has died... there's about 2" of air space around the stem where it enters the soil going down at least a foot. Most of the flowers had opened though so I'll be looking for self sets to pot up in August!
