GIANT SUNFLOWERS
« on: June 04, 2017, 08:01:45 »
I just planted out my  Giant Sunflowers .. I should have planted them weeks ago but we,ve had no rain .....I pulled them out from their 4"plastic pots ,they are about flour feet tall , thin , lanky and already have a flower bud at the top of each . If I were to cut the flower bud off will it branch  out and produce more flowers on a bushier plant ? Or  should I just stake them and let them only produce one flower ?
.......... whatjafink ?   :sunny: Debbie
Trespassers will be composted !

Having been checked in the pot it's never going to be a real "giant"... but stake it as it is... if you cut the bud off it should branch.. but they don'e always.
