fingers crossed
« on: May 02, 2017, 09:11:58 »
Having seen the forecast for the next couple of weeks for this area and had a good look at my bit of seaweed, I am putting the runners in today. They are getting far to big for the pots, been moved in and out of the greenhouse since last Friday, nice and dark green, so in they go. So I hope the cross fingers do not change into cross words. The soil is warm and the rain has done it's job and as I type this I am really convincing myself it is the right time.

My Cobra and Tenderstar  have been out since 28th, protected from the wind with bubble wrap. They are doing fine, already making their way up the poles. Last night we had a low of 6C which didn't affect either the beans or the courgettes I planted out a day later :icon_cheers:.

The forecast here for the next week or so is for night temperatures of 9C so my outdoor tomatoes will be planted out some time this week, too.

Tricia
