2017 new project
« on: January 03, 2017, 16:45:07 »
today i started a new flower bed around my patio at the allotment would have posted pics from the start

however my phone had no charge so will have to start posting pics from tomorrow  its 4ft by 15ft long with a espalier apple or pear it all depends on whats in ken muirs bargin basement then posts fitted with trellis to take two evergreen jasmines one of which is variegated  then planted with various perennials  and stepping stones from the path to the patio then the idea is to extend the trellis around my 1000ltr water tank and plant my wisteria to cover said trellis should have it all done in a couple of weeks weather permitting

The bed looks lovely.  You will need to cut the jasmin back every year or it will take over everything.  Mine has spread everywhere and taken over one of my flower gardens.
