All looking good
« on: November 10, 2016, 11:25:14 »
Broadies, onions and garlic all looking healthy, decided that as they can bring xmas on a couple of months early, I can do the same with spring. So turned over a bit of the plot, it was already done but the weeds were getting out of hand, everything was dug back in apart from the docks and thistles. Down to a tee shirt in the end it was so nice and warm. Picked the last of the aubergines and  a few calabrese  spears and some lettuce before we get a frost.

I've had the frost. Took down all the toms in Greenhouses and polytunnels today. Put some onions out. Broadies next week... (Southern Softie!!!)

Agree David, had two hard frosts here in Derby, I spent about 3 hours cutting limp foliage off my many dahlias....still got the plot ones to tidy up too....I left them in situ last year and they came back bigger than ever, so I'm going to try that this year too!
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
