still no rain

no rain as of 1 oclock this afternoon promised rain last night did not appear a light and i mean light shower for 10 mins this morning just started to drizzle however very very light

Same here, just across the water from you! It does seem to coming in a bit thicker, as we speak. We have had a really good run of summer weather. I was hoping it would last until the end of October!!

at last steady rain for the last hour its stopping now however but hey anything is better than nothing

We were in London yesterday - spectacular thunder and lightning (no rain thankfully as we were on foot).  No thunderstorm here, but this morning a good downpour.  By mid-afternoon the sun peeked out again.  It is quite breezy too. 

Do you have rainwater storage Johhnyco?   :wave:

rain stopped sunny spells now it only lasted 80 mins still i couldnt water for that longshould do my dahlias good they were looking quite sad

We have had over an inch in 2 hours today no thunder or lightning but my head feels like were due some as its sore

M4 was flooded yesterday after a storm.  It took my daughter more than 3 hours to go from Heathrow to Swindon, normally just over an hour.    After two hours her SATNAV was showing it was still another 1:15 to get home and she still have not reached Bracknell.

wow digger thats hard journey to make no rain today either here been at the plot all day just got in from 7 this morning rain gauge showed 4mm yesterday thats all we had  oh well  back to pumping water
