Just been into the garden to plant out a courgettes. Yes I am that late. And saw what I thought must be a moth fluttering, turned out to be the smallest of fledgling wrens, and it had two siblings.
I waited around with my phone to take a pic but they have so far not returned. I could hear the mother calling but she is staying well hidden in the weeds.
They used to nest in a firethorn, but I have never seen the young before.
