They are... but are prone to damage on new leaves when hardening off... usually when they have been watered... a bit like scorch I think.
One of our plot holders beans are affected in the same way.
My conclusion was scorch caused by watering over head, surplus water resting in curled up leaves in the growing tip then the winter sun shining through the greenhouse glass boiled them for want of a better expression.
The tips were quite crispy!
But they will grow out of it in my opinion providing the growing tip is still intact!
