I am just off on my summer holiday.  So I am looking forward to doing them when I get back.

I am looking forward to sunshine and snorkelling.  Hoping no one will try and total me.

Tee Gee, the Evolution Garden link refers to a different puzzle called Conifers and Trees (2).

Thanks for posting these beautiful pictures.

There are some very unusual plants in some of these jigsaw pictures.

What are the tall plants that have very long flower spikes/seed heads, please?  I don't think I have come across them before.  Most of the gardens I visit are not as acidic as these gardens in Scotland, but even when we lived in Oban for 5 years, I cannot remember seeing them.

I'm afraid I do not know Pauline as I didn't like walking on the bed to find out!

All I know they have been around for a long time and are related to the Fern family, and are not necessarily indigenous to Scotland as there was lots of stuff in the gardens that came from other parts of the world.

The University of Dundee Botanic Garden is situated near Dundee's International Airport on the outskirts of Dundee's City Centre. From Perth (A90), turn right at The Landmark Hotel roundabout onto Riverside Avenue.

Thank you for finding out the name of that plant, Tee Gee.

I am enjoying doing these jigsaws and it is good to see your photos of the many botanical gardens that you have visited.
