a few seeds wanted
« on: December 10, 2015, 16:12:52 »
The Yeti in Pink Knickers is badgering me for a mexican cigar plant, nasty little thing with tubular flowers. Cuphea to the latin lovers. Seems they grow from seed very easily, but I can only get the seed from America. So if there is anybody out there who can help this household live in peace and harmony and has a few seeds littering about I would not mind getting my hands on some. I think years ago I grew some as annuals, but cannot recall the seed supplier, we had them by accident as we really wanted 'little mouse'.

She will not be persuaded to have little mouse  instead, no she has to be her usual awkward self just to have something to keep nagging on about. Help me, I know the peace will not last long but it might shut her up for a while.

Great stuff, I wonder why Chilterns never came up in any searches. Thank you Flighty. They will surprise her in her xmas stocking, got the little mouse as well, but they term it as bat faced. To anybody else that is interested they make a good houseplant, or an interesting addition to your summer bedding, they will sometimes go through the winter outside in a sheltered spot.
