Book Recommendation needed
« on: November 12, 2015, 16:37:28 »
Hi, My brother in law has just got a plot on a community allotment where the plot sizes are only 10' x 10' .   As he is a new gardener I thought I would buy a suitable gardening book for him for Christmas that would help him to get the most out of that size plot. Has anybody got any good suggestions?  I have looked at a variety of books online, which have mixed reviews, like the "Magic Square", and "Square Metre Gardening" but I am not sure about them as they have been written with either the US or Australia in mind, though they do say they have been adapted.  Anybody got any ideas? Thank you. busy_lizzie xx

I'm sure there was a review in The Garden recently of a book about growing veg in a small space. unfortunately I've just freecycled all my magazines but maybe someone else will have it?

Couldn't resist it!

Click on my signature then on bookshop to see a selection of mainly ebooks and kindle books with a few very expensive traditional text books.
