I don't know if it the extra warmth down here or the particular summer we have had, lots more hot sun than usual, but my small ordinary courgette plants have taken over a large area of the veg plot. I reckon they now cover more than 12 sq yards, with at least 15 'growing' points where the flower tips are. They've now started to produce even more, right in the middle of the patch, quite impossible to get to!
