Not seen tubers growing above the ground before ... this one root had some strange large potatoes bellow ground too, still had a good crop ( 3 rows (30) Picasso in barrow) , some slug damage , will have to roast and freeze ASAP.

Wow that's a wheelbarrow full
Aerial potato tubers form as a response to some sort of damage whilst growing either injury or disease, I've had them on plants that have had Black scurf.
