non germination

 i sowed wall flowers and polyanthus seeds on 10 th April and not one as germinated   do you think theres still time or should i give up hoping they will still shoot

Is this inside or out.  Primroses/primulas are rather fickle.  Rubbing the seeds between your fingers and then sow them can help.  I have an idea that the seeds are covered with some kind of inhibitor.   Cow slips like it where the travellers tether their horses.   There are yellow pools of colour dotted around the place , so I would suggest weeing on them.

they are in the  green house , may be too hot  ?the seed  was  fresh ,bought  and sowed within  days.
