New concrete boots to fill

Almost done with making some more concrete boot planters. Should be ready for painting like these next week. What's the best small flowery plants to put in 'em?

Herbs would look nice - such as a thyme, some chives, small leaved basil (if you're somewhere warm that is)

I like the dwarf nastirtium (Alaska) with the lovely marbled foliage.  They are very small and tidy. Also pot marigold (the old fashioned variety).  Bizzie lizzie is another small one which would look good
