Canna coca
« on: May 06, 2015, 19:47:43 »
Hi all, I wonder if anyone can give me any advice please.  I run a school gardening club and the local police donate items confiscated from canabise growers. We receive pots, compost and hoses, but no plants!! Lately they have brought bags of Canna Coca, I have read that it contains no nutritional value for plants, it is used in hydroponics with liquid supplements. Would it be o.k to add it to our compost heap or use as a mulch. Any help would be most appreciated. :coffee2: :coffee2:

Do either. It may not have any nutritional value, but it's still organic matter, and has value as such. I once had some compost which came the same way, and it was good stuff.
