found a dead frog in the pond this morning, I think it was the one that had 3 or 4 male frogs trying to mate with her, they must have crushed her to death.

thats true, I didnt want to pull them off her, there grip was tight, there are plenty more frogs, the fox bite ones head off last year

Oh dear....
It's difficult for humans to intervene in animal matters as we do not know what to do exactly to help. Maybe retrieving the male off her would have done more harm.
But as you say Simon, there are plenty more. Keep smiling! ;) :)
