Here, there and back again
« on: October 27, 2014, 17:13:20 »
Hello again.

I was Here but I've had a long absence partly due to losing my old e-mail addy and password. Fortunately I did write it down and it came to light again after moving house! In my old house I was growing in pots in the garden until I built veg beds (organic) and all was going well there until a forced move to a (temporary, rented) house where I will be back to growing everything in pots again. Full circle. The only new thing is I have a lawn which has molehills so that's going to be fun.

So that's why I've been missing for ages and I'm back again.

Ah, thanks for the welcome back. Mm, I've read the hills are highly recommended for potting mixes so I'll be trying that out and the other good thing is a mole indicates I've got a decent supply of earthworms.

Hi, nice to see you back
Lots of mole activity here too!
Love using mole hill soil, but it can contain a fair amount of weed seeds, or it does here.

welcome back!
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
