Yesterday I had to trim some of the chilli plants so I could get inside the GH...resulting whole blue mushroom basket full of chillies! I haven't even started properly harvesting yet... :icon_cheers:
This was yield just from few outer branches..
and on the other photo there is one of my favourite chillies..Trepadeira Werner..not overly hot, very tasty with good fruitiness..lovely raw and dried and made into spice too...(pst!..some seeds should get into circle this year..)

Kerrumbs, what are you growing them in?  Mine are *arty in size and quantity in comparison.

Are the white ones a Fatalli variety?  I grew Fatalli red this year - lovely looking but very hot..
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

Lottie, I grow my chillies in quadgrow planters and chilli plants tend to grow huge in them, as well as the crops  :icon_cheers:

Nick...the white Fatalii looking ones are Aji Fantasy...more and less heatless chillies that are wonderful to chomp as they are but will take cooking too. And those little white round ones are unripe Trepadeira's ..they do have heat even in that stage.

My diet will include chillies in anything and everything next few months or so... :icon_cheers:
...oh and peppers too..... :laughing7:

Got to get them going early in the year - Chilies are the first thing I plant out.  Not that mine are as productive as Goodlife's!

I grew some of the Aji Fantasy too this year, nice flavour.

This post inspired me to grow these varieties :)

How far do they spread sideways? I'm interested to see these in a Quadgrow as on the net folk show them spreading out over greenhouse....so I've been wondering what spacing to use. Really excited about growing these varieties :)
