Candles
« on: August 04, 2014, 21:07:49 »
Well, I had better get off the computer and turn it off, as I have one night light candle ready for tonight.  I would like to watch it on TV when all the lights go off, but not sure if that is allowed.  Anyone else turning the lights off tonight.  Speak to you all later.  Night, night.

Done it, but not to great effect with all the street lamps still glaring away. Plus everybody partying down in the town for Cowes for the regatta.

Loved the service - really helped to reflect on events a hundred years ago, very moving.

We had just one oil lamp in the house (the candle we had kept blowing out) and the telly on.

Lights off and candle lit here.  But like Ace the street lights did spoil it.
