Finally...
« on: March 19, 2005, 18:42:50 »
...pulled my finger out and had a productive day.  Having done little since rusing my garlic in during February to catch a hard frost I went to today, with my partner, dug loads and got 500g of onion sets in.  Having done exercises with my son this morning, I am feeling very fit and self riteous.  Now what is the code for smug grin? 8) That will have to do!

Great feeling to get started planting isn't it. Been mostly digging out weeds all week and last week too but Friday and today I have made a start with planting. Got my carrots, potatoes, onion sets and broad bean seedlings in.

First sowing outside for me too today, early peas. Overcast but luvly and mild in the east midlands today. Thought I might try sowing by the moon this year so getting them in before the full moon!

Good for you, ;) this weather makes you want to get up and go, our new lottie was bursting with enthusiasts today, felt like a team effort, very encouraging. 8)
