Battery running down need help please
« on: March 18, 2014, 17:55:21 »
Is it possible to have a virus which runs down the battery even when the computer is plugged.

Even though I am plugged in it keeps stopping showing the plugged in icon, and then starts again intermittently. I do not understand why this is happening, bought a new battery but it is just the same.

Also the battery seems to be running down overnight.

Don't think so, I would say it is more a problem with the connections to the battery? Just a thought.

I'm thinking similar to Antipodes, I had a laptop that wouldn't charge properly, there was an iffy connection inside. Perhaps something similar?
