cayenne peppers
« on: November 15, 2014, 14:04:49 »
I grew these as one of those experiments - and ended up with rather more than I expected. Good thing in a way that over half the plants died, is all I can say!  I do not know how hot they generally are, but two of these seem to heat up a chutney nicely. Even if I dry and then cut up small I will have more than enough for my own needs for a couple of years.  All pods so far are ripened fully to red or orangey red, but I still have green ones on plants should anyone wish those too..

So I am happy to send out some cayenne peppers if people want them - I'd be sending the actual peppers, so people can de-seed them themselves - I have not proved 100% successful at saving seed so would not want any one to get duff ones. I'd just ask cost of the stamp to be paypalled to me if that suits. PM me if you are interested.  Thanks.
