Hello everyone.
Last year we were awarded a grant form the Heritage Lottery Fund to enable us to research the history of our site and to tell the stories of the allotments through plot holders past and present.
We held our launch this week, so if anyone is interested just Google Queens Road Allotments Not Lost the Plot to access the web site.............sorry I can't do links.
On the web site are a number of shortish videos made by our resident film maker Bill Newsinger, and a booklet which can be down loaded by another of our allotmenteers Ted Moody aka the Compost King.
For anyone in the Leicester area we are also showing the final film in the Not Lost the Plot series at the Phoenix
on Friday November 8th, screen 2, at 5.15 pm, as part of their documentary festival.Free entrance.
