On line shopping
« on: October 25, 2013, 09:28:50 »
I find it's often easier to shop on-line than than go to the shops. I came across this site by chance and thought it looked good, Grow it, Cook it, Eat it http://www.thegrowyourownshow.co.uk/ I'm not sure how the postage works yet might be a bit pricey, but good range of goods from lots of different suppliers.

OHHH...Thomas Etty has their seed through 'grow it' site!...interesting..I must compare the prices against Etty's catalogue..

edit to add...
I just had a quick look at Etty's catalogue and prices are more and less same with the few things I checked..
Some lettuces in the 'grow it' site are £1.7o per packet..where as in catalogue they have more choice in varieties and packet sizes and thus prices. Some of those lettuces were priced £1.80 or £1 for a smaller packet...hmmmm....

Well..there is plenty of interesting small companies product to look for..perfect 'job' to do when it is rainy day and not much else to do... :icon_cheers: Which at the moment means...later...yesterday I hoarded lots of 'stuff' together in a hurry so I can sort them today when they are dry and indoors. By 'sorting' I mean....picking....freezing...cooking..etc.. :drunken_smilie:
