Felix
« on: September 05, 2013, 07:30:05 »
Had a phone call last night from a  friend telling me that a badly injured cat had been taken into the PDSA where her daughter works who resembled Felix, one of our allotment cats. He had to be put to sleep. He wasn't micro chipped but after asking around. No one had seen him. I don't think he ever went outside of the allotment so will call the PDSA today to ask who took him in and where they found him. Will miss the old man

When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

I'm sorry but it was our Felix. It was not a road accident which we feared. It was a growth in his head that made him so poorly. He is at rest now in my fruit cage bless him.

The only consolation is that he was found by a kind person on her way to work
and taken to the vet.
There are some kind people around.

Was he the first who you started to look after? He had so much better life because of you two and Jen.

He was at another allotment first but he had to leave so I asked Betty if he could stay at Walsall Rd.She said he could and I followed him shortly after .  He has had a good life since he and we shall all miss him,.I wasnt able to  feed him because I live too far away and couldnt get there ever day.Betty and Ken shared the task.
