Morning All,

Can anyone tell me what kind of wild flower this is? I saw it whilst walking through a wooded area by the river.

Many thanks,

It is Marum Maculatum, referred to as "Lords and Ladies" but also known as "Cuckoo Pint".

Although this is an Irish site, the plant is found throughout the UK.  I posted this link as it shows the flower and the seed head.

Did you know it has the most common names of any British native plant?
Gardening is the great leveller.
