"New" potatoes
«
on:

With all the reports in the news this week about "new" potatoes, I was pleased to harvest some today from my garden. They are now cooking in the pan.
With less than 2 hours from garden to pan, THAT's what I call new potatoes

Oh yes, I have a tub of mint on the patio, I daren't let mint loose IN the garden.
They were a little starchy on boiling but tasted great

I was quite surprised how long new spuds spend out of the ground!
We are now eating out second earlies as baked spuds!
