Looks good:)

This has been our best year so far (we have been allotmenting for 6 years), and this is despite the silly cold spring!,

Great harvest!

This year has been just silly. My peas were rubbish, I have had terrible trouble getting beetroot to take, three attempts at parsnips and still no luck, all my brassicas didn't make it, yet I have the best tomato crop ongoing, really good squash, cucumbers which I find hard to do, the freezer is full of rhubarb and the most surprising, carrots doing well, which i have NEVER been able to grow...  The beans I did deliberately late as we will be on holidays end August and I wanted some before and the rest after the holidays - so far so good.
I also had an excellent potato crop and quite good onions.
2012 - Snow in February, non-stop rain till July. Blight and rot are rife. Thieving voles cause strife. But first runner beans and lots of greens. Follow an English allotment in urban France: http://roos-and-camembert.blogspot.com
