Brilliant.
I'm delighted that it's being repeated on BBC 2 on Sunday mornings for those who can't receive BBC Scotland.
Excellent news.

Me too.  CB is very knowledgeable and good at communicating his excitement about plants without gushing.   Excellent news.

Eye candy GJ???? Tut tut! He's jist a wee laddie hen! CMoan!!

Edited to say:
I have been wondering who would replace Lesley Watson on Beechgrove. I'm really glad that they've got another good gardener.
(Haha! I can still get to Lesley and husband Dougal Philip at New Hopetoun Gardens not far from Tam Dalyell's House of the Binns. Their garden centre is exceptional and in an extremely beautiful situation looking north over the Firth of Forth.)

Good to see that they are recruiting someone we can respect.

(Does he know how cold it is in Aberdeen??? shhhhhh)

It's mine too Kea! I loved when it was in the walled garden at Hopetoun House. The setting was spectacular! In horticultural terms it's even better now, however, since Dougal and Lesley have developed the site to suit.

I like BG for it's straightforward down-to-earth approach to gardening,I hope Mr Beardshaw doesn't spoil it.

He won't.  He's down to earth too and knows his plants.   I'm just hoping the competition makes Monty and the GW production team look to their laurels.
