It is been rather wet here today and the wind has been blowing.   It will be interesting to see if any trees are still standing tomorrow.

It has been tipping it down here for most of 17 hours.   Looks like there will be at least a couple of hours more.

Swindon will be in chaos tomorrow, there is only one bridge over the railway line and the rest go under and have a tendency to fill up with several feet of water.

It was lovely at the lottie this morning, when I went to get some fresh veg.   Everything is very soggy.

River Thames has been rising there is now a set of huge lakes.

Not clear if there is going to be a repeat performance on Thursday night.

Blimmin' bucketing down again,we have had heavy rain over most of the Christmas break. The lottie is a sodden mess but it made it rather easy to dig up the gooseberry bushes. The transplanted ones have at least been well watered into the ground!!!

So much rain and wind, ferries cancelled, trees down, and flooding in some coastal towns. On the bright side very warm so even the central heating does not kick in. I need four wheel drive to get on the parking area as I have just levelled and filled in holes  before I dress it all with a few tons of gravel. It is a mudbath at the moment, but it should pack down hard when I can get on it and roll it. Poor dogs cannot get out in the garden and I have  temporary fenced off the decking for a run for them. It make house training the little one hard, but she has got it at last. Plenty of treats and pats on the head.

Supposed to come up again tonight, like last night and back to time inmemorial it seems like.

Just had the mother of all hail stones here with really loud thunder, hail stones about half the size of golf balls and covered the lawn in a couple of minutes

Hope all you A4Aers in western UK are doing UK as the weather looks right fearsome in your part of the world today! It is very rainy here and a bit windy but not too bad just now.

It's been raining here all day, so very wet. Hope the really flooded parts aren't getting it too, I can hardly imagine how bad things are. Keep safe.

It's pouring here too. Severe drought where my friend lives in Colorado, extreme heat in Melbourne and snowing in Calgary. I guess these extremes in the world weather patterns are what we are going to have to get used to!!

I'm really confused a weather year so far like no other not cold but windy and wet and not clear what spring it will transition to - only certainties are no hosepipe ban. Time for Rice and watercress ? perhaps

A tad on the wild side, but not all the time, in the space of half an hour, torrential rain, hailstones, gale force winds and then blazing sunshine.
