The daily bump :wave:

Guess it is my turn for a bump  :hello2:

However many thanks to those who have contributed already we are doing well yet again.

I miss Stopp's bump icons this year though.

Been thinking of ways we can make our bumps more interesting.

Anybody care to add a joke or perhaps a verse they like???

I thought this may ring a bell with a few of us

A's for arthritis;
B's the bad back,
C's the chest pains, perhaps car-di-ac?
D is for dental decay and decline,
E is for eyesight, can't read that top line!
F is for fixtures and fluid retention,
G is for gas which I'd rather not mention.
H high blood pressure--I'd rather it low;
I for incisions with scars you can show.
J is for joints, out of socket, won't mend,
K is for knees that crack when they bend .
L 's for libido, what happened to sex?
M is for memory, I forget what comes next.
N is neuralgia, in nerves way down low;
O is for osteo, bones that don't grow!
P for prescriptions, I have quite a few, just give me a pill and I'll be good as new!
Q is for queasy, is it fatal or flu?
R is for reflux, one meal turns to two.
S is for sleepless nights, counting my fears,
T is for Tinnitus; bells in my ears!
U is for urinary; troubles with flow; V for vertigo, that's 'dizzy,' you know.
W for worry, now what's going 'round?
X is for X ray, and what might be found.
Y for another year I'm left here behind,
Z is for zest I still have-- in my mind!

Two members were sending cheques direct so it's likely that the total is at least £200.
Many thanks to everyone who has donated so far.

If anyone is looking for gardening Christmas cards Thrive have some good ones -

I just noticed that the first post is not showing at the top of the second page as it used to do for a sticky...
Is this something the mods can do or is it for Dan to look into?

I have had a look in profile settings and I cannot see how to change it for our personal settings.  I think that it is to do with the new forum and that is down to Dan, but I am the least techy of the mods so there may be someone else can help.

The Christmas cards that I ordered from Thrive arrived this morning and with them was a letter which included -

...Your support with the Christmas collection from the A4A community is greatly appreciated by everyone involved in our work...May I wish you all the very best for Christmas and the New Year...

My own thanks go to everyone who has donated so far.

Xmas cards look good, (Hope I will get one), will donate soon I hope, but money is a bit short this year.  Hopefully will win the lottery tonight, dream on, and then I will donate.  Not sure I want to give bank details on the internet, even though overdrawn at bank. How does this work, please.
