Hi Bel, welcome to the A4A, you have your work cut out there, the advice given by most is to dig small sections at a time unless you have a ground force team of helpers. ;D

Yep, I don't envy you the digging and clearing, but it looks like a lovely spot and you just can't beat that excitement and dreaming stage!

good luck! Thats what ours looked like a few weeks ago, its looking better now though, you can do it!  Yup do a little at a time.

natty that is a great site...good to see your pics...
Today I been digging a patch out of the grass for the greenhouse I got for FREE!!!....only prob is it looks like a jig-saw lol....all that digging and still nowhere to plant...well tis fun!! ???...will put up another pic when there is something to see...
This is a wonderful site crammed with great info...so pleased to find you all... :)

Hi Bel  :) Your plot looks just like mine, with the hedge round it and all the grass.  I've got a few bits of carpet as well  ;D    My lotty pic on "locations and sites" I think
