At last, a "week" worth following!
Last week I made a recipe from Dan Lepard in the Guardian (I love his recipes), it was a chocolate cake made with "curd cheese" (basically any type of fresh cheese like fresh goats chese, fresh curds etc) It was absolutely delicious and had no trace of cheesiness but was tasty and moist.
nom nom nom, might be time for a retake....

Honestly jayb it was delicious. I used "faisselle" which is a kind of fairly wet curd cheese that is unsalted. But I think a mild fresh goat cheese could really work too. I kept the cake in the fridge and it lasted a week too!
Dan Lepard has brill recipes for bread too - god, I wonder if he's married! LOL!  He makes one that uses stout as the liquid - it was delicious.

Lol - sold  :icon_cheers: But I'll need to get some cheese for it, I'll do it at the weekend, which leaves me what to make today for a choccie fix?
Cheers, I'm off to google his bread recipies.
