Looking for Pointy Heart tomato
« on: October 06, 2012, 11:05:24 »
I was going to order Pointy Heart Tomato seeds from Real Seeds, trouble is I was too slow placing my order and they had sold out. I don’t think they will have any more. Kicking myself as they sound really interesting, I’m hoping someone may have a few spare seeds to swap?
I’ve several of their other Bulgarian varieties Baba, Old Unnamed Bulgarian and Cuban Flower I can swap in return, or lots of other varieties.

Hoping someone can help

Hi there.

Just looked on the Plants of Distinction UK website and they are stating that they have heart shaped tomatoes - Tomatoberry F1 - seeds in stock. £3.25 for 10 so a bit pricey.

Hope this helps.

Cheers blackkitty,  the Pointy Heart tomato I'm looking for was one of the Bulgarian heirloom varieties offered by Real Seeds last year. I've grown Tomatoberry before, they are a lovely shaped cherry tomato and do produce well, so thanks for the reminder to put them on my list to grow next year  :happy7:

You are in luck Jayb. Just checked and this was one I got from them for growing this year. There are nine seeds left. You are welcome to some or all of the seeds.

Can't say what they are like as it has been a really bad year for toms and while a few of the many varieties have ripened I can't see a single ripe pointy heart. (probably due to the bad summer etc.)

I'll pm you to see where we go from here. :icon_cheers:
