Love your plastics skip?
« on: September 04, 2012, 22:14:44 »
Is it just me or is the "large plastics" skip the most exciting thing about going to the civic amenity centre?

This year I've had 4 window-box troughs now used for growing scallions, about a dozen good sized planters for next year's tomatoes, a bin that has now got late potatoes in it and 5 of those plastic storage boxes that go for about 9 quid in the shops. Some of them will be filled with sand and used to store veg, others will be pressed into service for carrot growing.

Oh, and a 19L plastic fish tank for aquarium emergencies.

I love my plastics skip.   :D
