We do not get as excited as the mockneys down here. Wound up by Boris into a frenzy of patriotism.

I have a friend who does an early morning cleaning job and she has just been telling me that here in Paignton the church bells were rung this morning. I was surprised as on the boards everyone seemed to rubbish the idea.

I won't be doing my usual late night visit here tonight - I'll be watching the Opening Ceremony! I, for one, am looking forward to the next couple of weeks.

Bring it on!

Felt a bit sad ringing my little cowbell at 8 12 this morning in the kitchen but it had to be done. ;D

  Yes!! We heard the bells this morning about 8-10 or so.
 I shall sky + the open ceremony because it will go on for hours & the BBC will waffle all the way through it. ;D

Well I think my neighbours think my cheese has slipped off my cracker for sure now when I was heard ringing a bell off the balcony at midnight!!
