cucumbers
« on: July 09, 2012, 19:01:39 »
Have several cucumber plants in my greenhouse, plenty of foilage and lots of cucumbers showing.  The problem is they are not growing at, still at the embroy stage. I have been taking off all the male flowers I wonder if this is causing my
cu-ees to stop growing. Can anyone help?

Depending on what weather you are getting will contribute to this

What i have found is not to let any cucumbers grow for the first two feet, this will allow the plant to get established.

You could also remove every other cucumber so the plant can distribute the feed better

Removing the male flowers have no affect in the growth of the plant.
