3G phone bill increases - mid contract
« on: June 16, 2012, 16:28:17 »
I have been with 3G for 9 years on various contracts as and when they needed renewing.  I am 18 months into a 24 month contract and they have increased my monthly bill by about 5%.  Customer services said they are allowed to do this once a year if they wish as it is in T&Cs,  which I cannot find 18 months into this term.  Anybody know if they can do this?  Time to switch providers I think.

Can you check the terms and conditions online? Even if it's in the contract it sounds like an unfair term to me, so if you can't get any joy from them seek advice from C.A.B.

Have a look on www.adviceguide.org.uk under Consumer.

Edit: Actually, having read the info in the above link, they may be able to get away with it  >:(
But have a read and compare with your situation.
